today, i get to experience a level of sanity that was unimaginable durin the days of doin my dirt. in the early stages of my recovery, i embraced spiritual principles, hopin to find a way to move beyond my alcoholism. however, i learned that rather than escapin it, i could coexist with my alcoholism by applyin the wisdom shared by others in recovery. the transformation since those initial days has been remarkable. while i once yearned to achieve 19 years of sobriety all at once, ive come to realize that managin it in a healthy manner takes time. my belief in and connection with my hp has evolved into a heartfelt and comprehensive understandin, nurtured throughout my recovery journey. now, i possess a sense of sanity that i lacked back then. 1 day @ a time…
