the journey toward humility truly began for me when i entered the halfway house where i would spend the next two and a half years of my life. while it might not seem significant to others, it marked a pivotal moment for me; i was at the jumpin off point of deep internal struggle, feelin utterly defeated. although this initial step may appear modest, it was the seed from which my humility gradually took root. in the early stages of my recovery, i was unaware of the subtle changes happenin within me, yet i did experience small moments of growth that hinted at the transformation underway. embracin an open mind was essential for me to surrender to this process and accept the shifts occurrin inside. as i engaged with the supportive community around me, i learned from trusted friends in recovery who demonstrated how they nurtured their own humility. over time, my journey of faith has continued to unfold and expand, mirrorin the growth of my open-mindedness, humility, and faith. 1 day @ a time…
