through a definite shift in my understandin and mindset, i now recognize how this journey equips me with the essential tools to address this complex three-fold disease. in the early days of my recovery, i was oblivious to this deeper concept, mistakenly believin that my struggle was solely about alcoholism. however, as i immersed myself in the supportive environment of the rooms, absorbin the experience, strength, and hope of others, and collaboratin closely with my sponsor, i began to grasp the multifaceted nature of this disease and its impact on my physical, mental, and spiritual well-bein. with diligent effort, i delved into the challengin aspects of my personal struggles, and together with my sponsor, we tackled the most pressin issues, pavin the way for healthier solutions that ultimately led to the fulfillment of the promises outlined in the big book. as i continued on this path, i also began to confront the seemingly minor character defects that had intertwined with my deeper issues, which had fueled my dependence on alcohol. today, i am fully convinced of the effectiveness of the practice of the spiritual principles which have led me to faith in somethin greater than i; it works, it really does. 1 day @ a time…
