in my early recovery, i discovered the significance of bein open to prayer, which has since become a vital part of my journey toward faith. its been my experience that the evolution of my relationship with prayer illustrates the transformative power of genuine spiritual practice in recovery. ive uncovered through inventory, even durin moments of selfishness in my prayers, i found valuable lessons that contributed to my spiritual growth. today, my prayers hold little meanin unless i actively work to turn them into reality. i refuse to revert to the days of doin my dirt, when i offered insincere prayers to a santa god without any genuine follow-through. today, prayer connects me to the Great Spirit, guidin me to adopt behaviors that enhance my well-bein on multiple levels. this practice enriches the holistic approach i embrace in my recovery, behaviorally, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. from the days of doin my dirt ive shifted from superficial prayers to a more profound engagement that fosters accountability and resilience in my recovery. 1 day @ a time…
