forgiveness is a quality ive had to diligently nurture throughout my recovery journey. in my earliest recovery, i found faith to be a challengin concept, and while it certainly was, the act of forgivin demanded an even deeper level of surrender and acceptance. my emotions, anger, fear, and frustration, were deeply rooted, havin been cultivated over many years. these feelins had become intertwined with my alcoholism and self-righteousness, formin a very unhealthy habitual way of life. my sponsor played a crucial role in guidin me toward understandin how forgiveness could foster a healthier emotional and psychological state, ultimately leadin to a more peaceful mindset. my sponsor helped me to realize that i needed to actively practice forgiveness before it could genuinely resonate within me. even now, the process of forgivin can still feel complex and demandin. i often find it necessary to apply other spiritual principles to overcome my own willfulness. my faith and the belief i have in my HP have been vital in this endeavor. to overlook the importance of humility in this process would be to disregard the many blessins i have received. with a newfound inner strength and an unwaverin sense of hope and confidence gained from E.S.H., i am now able to forgive, allowin me to surrender and live freely and extend unconditional forgiveness to both me and others, just as my HP has done for me. 1 day @ a time…
