i cannot claim that i have successfully made every amends in the manner i would have preferred. what stands out for me is my willingness to address these issues to the best of my ability. some amends were made promptly, while others took years to address, only occurrin when the timin felt appropriate. there are also instances where makin amends is simply not feasible. regardless of the category, an essential aspect of my journey involves transformin my behavior, which reflects a genuine change in my personality that manifests positively in my daily life. i have come to recognize the harm i inflicted on others, particularly my family, who endured the most significant impact of my alcoholism. they are the ones to whom i owe the greatest debt. havin made amends and received their forgiveness, it is crucial for me to support them as they continue their healin process, even years after the fact. acknowledgin their forgiveness and remainin present in their lives serves as an ongoin act of amends, not just to them but to others as well. by strivin to live in a way that aligns with what i believe my HP desires for me, i can maintain healthy relationships with my family, my peers, my HP, and myself. 1 day @ a time…
