i never could have imagined that the sayin, "you have to go through hell before you can reach heaven," would resonate so deeply in my own life. the concepts of the paradoxes of recovery, as described in various recovery readins, has indeed manifested in my experiences. i can only hope that i have faced the worst of days. although my recoverin journey has been incredibly challengin at times, i find myself grateful for the trials i have endured. they have endowed me with strength, love, courage, and a sense of serenity that i had long lost. most importantly, these experiences have forged a relationship and connection with God, a bond and communication i had strayed from in the years of doin my dirt. 1 day @ a time...
