Perseverance has taught me that what i know best is the continual practice of surrender, returnin, again and again, to the simple truth that my recovery depends upon a conscious contact with my HP. in my early recovery, i mistook involvement for usefulness, believin that scatterin my efforts across many things was service. yet i have learned that devotion to one thing done well, my own spiritual growth, bears fruit far beyond what any restless strivin could produce. each mornin, in quiet prayer and meditation, i ask to be guided by that power rather than by my own anxious will. in doin so, i find the strength to listen rather than control, to act rather than react. by focusin on livin the principles rather than managin outcomes, i become more useful to others, often without sayin a word. what i know best now is that my life works only when i stay rooted in humility, gratitude, and the daily practice of doin one thing supremely well, seekin and followin my HPs will. 1 day @ a time…
