it has been my experience that the two legacies of sufferin and recovery form an unbroken continuum that transcends culture, creed, and social standin. when i engage with another alcoholic, there is an unspoken recognition, an immediacy of understandin that arises not from shared circumstance but from shared condition. our narratives may diverge in their outward details, yet the interior landscape of our affliction is hauntingly familiar. my HP, in infinite wisdom, has arranged these convergences so that we afflicted might become instruments of healin for one another. within this divine economy of grace, the wound itself becomes the channel through which compassion flows. Perseverance, in this sense, is not mere endurance but an active surrender to a purpose greater than survival. the act of reachin outward, guidin, listenin, and sharin, constitutes both the discipline and the reward of this thing we do. it is through this global communion of broken yet mended souls that i remain tethered to my HPs design. each exchange renews the covenant of sobriety, transformin private anguish into collective strength. thus, i persist, not by will alone, but through participation in a fellowship that sanctifies sufferin by transmutin it into service. 1 day @ a time…
