takin the time each mornin to examine my emotional equilibrium and uncover the intrinsic motives that shape my behavior and thought processes is indispensable if i am to live a truly spiritual life. when i identify the patterns that require attention, i turn to prayer, petitionin my HP for discernment and strength to move toward right action. in meditation, i focus and listen deeply, quietin the noise of self so that i may perceive the subtle language of divine direction. in those still moments, the distance between my will and His narrows, and i find myself drawn into a more intimate awareness of his presence. each of these disciplines, self-examination, meditation, and prayer, forms a continuous thread of spiritual development. practiced together, they refine my intuition, enablin me to respond to lifes complexities with balance and grace. the insights i receive are seldom dramatic; rather, they arrive in quiet certitude, a knowin that emerges when patience and humility are present. it then becomes my sacred responsibility to act upon that guidance, to move forward in faith, and to live out that direction of Spiritual Awareness. 1 day @ a time…
