workin and livin toward practicin the spiritual principles in all my affairs has demanded a sustained inward discipline, for ive learned that the truest measure of my recovery is revealed not in what i say in the rooms but in how i conduct myself when only my conscience and my HP observe me. what once seemed a flimsy reed has become, through Service, self-examination, and daily willingness, a foundation capable of holdin the weight of a transformed life. the most decisive changes rise from the unseen places, quiet prayer, deepened conscious contact, and the rigorous scrutiny of my own motives. from that work, there has come a peace and inner steadiness i never possessed before. as i act on the guidance given in silence, others benefit from labor they never witness. by followin those who carried the message to me, i now carry the message to the next sufferin alcoholic, knowin that translatin the twelve steps into action upon all my affairs is the payoff, the magnificent reality, of this thing we do. 1 day @ a time...
