from someone who had turned his back on God, to someone who now understands the importance of a relationship with God, ive found that the more i rely upon Him, the better my life gets. all it takes for me is to surrender to the fact that i dont run the show or the world around me. when i accept that He allows me to feel and live my humanness, i get the opportunity to experience life the way He plans it and how i react to it. i get the choice to either rely upon Him or take the reins. today, i aint got no business tryin to control shit beyond me. thats His job not mine. my responsibility is to continue to be accountable for what i do and how i think. and wouldnt ya know it, havin practiced humility for a lil while, its changed my attitude toward God and how i can better my relationship with Him. im grateful today for what i have for i KNOW where i would be hadnt i surrendered. when i walk humbly with God i get to rely on His grace to carry me through the fun times and tough times of life. i get to offer the hand of peace to others just as my HP has done for me. faith has helped change me through prayer and cultivate a reliance upon my HP. out of my egotism utilizin a conscious relationship with powers far beyond myself, i get to follow, so i may lead. i get to continue my relationships with my HP, others, and myself, receivin the guidance that comes from beyond my own power and conscious will. how many times does God speak to me through my relationships and interaction with others? through those interactions, and in the light of my own circumstances, i get to develop the quality of willingness. i get to make the decision to exert humility, remainin grateful for what ive been gifted. i dont have to make a big show of the graces He has fortified me with. all i gotta do is live as i feel He guides me. it is then others may notice my efforts to live my best life forward. 1 day@ a time...
