my daily reflections…

i have always said i do not need to go to an organized meetin to have a meetin. some of the best meetins i have ever been to, have happened spontaneously; and would ya believe with only 1 or 2 other people. to be able to practice humility in such a manner helps me to live the responsibility this thing we do has taught me. i dont have to try to control my recovery like i used to try to control my drinkin. i can be responsible enough in my recovery to share it with another, whether in a room full of people, or sittin on a dock by the bay with another. by practicin this gratitude, today i have the ability to really reach people, make myself available and open enough, so that people can really reach me too. adherin to humility and responsibility means that i have to courageously get busy every day, livin my life as rightly as i perceive my HPs will is fer me. it includes service toward others and myself, without need fer recognition fer the service. i am blessed today to be able to show this gratitude to live by both these standards, humility and responsibility. 1 day @ a time…
