my daily reflections…

when i came in i had tried everythin i knew to live, somewhat, a normal life. i lost at every turn toward the end of my drinkin. i had been broken enough to really want to try someone elses way, desperation. i had seen the steps workin in others lives so this gave me the confidence that they too could work in mine as well. i was able to see Gods grace around me workin and soon it began to surround me. after watchin the others around me i could see there was somethin in this thing we do i had to have. the people around me were still havin difficulties in life, but they were normal difficulties and they werent drinkin over em. they were livin life as best as they could and were succeedin. this was somethin i wanted, a way of life that could be lived without creatin more problems fer myself. it was up to me to conform to the spiritual principles within it. hell man, i had tried fer years to make everythin conform to me and failed each and every time. it was time i finally tried another way. with the help of the others in this thing we do i began to change, even though i couldnt see it and others could, the things i had witnessed early on were the things i was finally doin too. my life was changin, Gods grace and love became my focal point and recovery soon followed. 1 day @ a time…
